We've partnered with a cooperative of ranchers who raise their goat in a very unique way.

The goats are beyond free range and beyond pastured. Most goats in the US are raised in huge farms with hundreds of animals in a confined space, to get them to a slaughter weight quickly they are fed grains.

GZ goats are raised in the mountain ranges, grazing over thousands of acres of pesticide free ranges. They live a life that closely resembles their wild ancestors, with herders following them on horseback up and down the mountain. The goats are 'hired' by different ranches and even government agencies as a non-chemical means for weed control. There are some weeds that are toxic to other animals, but the goats love them! The goats are cross between boer and spanish, and are small and sure footed and great foragers, they love romping through the mountain ranges and finding weeds to attack!
